Composition:
Each 100 ml of solution for infusion contains levofloxacin hemihydrate 512,4 mg Eq.to levofloxacin 500 mg

Indications:
Levofloxacin – Arabcomed 500 mg-100 ml Solution for I.V infusionis indicated in adults for the treatment of the following infections:
In Complicated skin and soft tissue infections / Complicated skin and skin structure infections.
Fluoroquinolones should be reserved for use in patients who have no other treatment options for acute bacterial sinusitis, (ABS), acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis (ABECB), and uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTI).
Community-acquired pneumonia
Acute pyelonephritis and complicated urinary tract infections.
Chronic bacterial prostatitis.
Inhalation Anthrax: post exposure prophylaxis and curative treatment.
should not generally be used in patients aged less than 18 years, pregnant women, or breast-feeding mothers unless the benefit outweighs the risk.

Package & Storage:
Carton box containing glass vial containing 100 ml sterile concentrate solution + inner leaflet.
Store at temperature not exceed 30°C and protect from light and used after opening for 3 hours when stored at temperature not exceed 30°C & used after dilution with sodium chloride 0.9% & dextrose 5% & 2.5% dextrin in ringer solution injection for 4 hours when stored at temperature not exceed 30°C.
